Our story

A tribute to good craft,
fresh ingredients,
and to gathering people.

The Nor'East — craft cocktails & kitchen opened in 2010, started by Provincetown-raised siblings who wanted to build the kind of place they'd want to spend a long afternoon in. From the salvaged Cape Codder windows to the rope-wrapped beams, almost everything here was made by hand — including the tables and the bar where you sit.

From the opening, using respectable distributors, organic, whole ingredients, and making everything from scratch has been a top priority.

Making food that makes you feel good, cocktails with real ingredients, and only the best beer and wine have been our promise since day one.

Our selection of craft beer on draft changes constantly. As soon as a beer kicks, we replace it with something new.

Chef Joe Vitale

Joe takes pride in serving dishes made with local, fresh, and from-scratch ingredients — changing the dinner menu with the seasons. Joe grew up in Orleans working in his family's pizza shop. He then earned his degree in chemical engineering and returned to the Cape. Joe takes his love of gardening and works that into the menu here. Using fresh produce, good olive oil, ethically sourced proteins, and lots of good cheese to create some beauty on the plate.

The bar

House-made everything.

Cocktails marry the highest-quality spirits with fresh, garden-inspired ingredients and syrups we make in-house. Bitters, shrubs, infusions — all built behind the bar.
